Alexandra P. Romualdez, Chairman
Ms. Alexandra "Sandy" P. Romualdez is a director of LINQ. She is also the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Aside from the Inquirer, Sandy is also actively involved with the newspaper's sister companies. She is the Chairperson of Hinge Inquirer Publications, President of Inquirer Publications, Inc. and Member of the Board of Directors of Inquirer Interactive.
Sandy's business competence is balanced by her inclination towards advocacy work. She is one of the founding members of Gifts and Graces Fair Trade Foundation and Hands On Manila Foundation. She was also Co-Chair of Tabang Mindanaw, former Commissioner for Media and Arts of the National Commission on the Role of Filipino Women and former head of the Associate Missionaries of the Assumption. Sandy is currently a board member of WAN-IFRA (World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers) and committee member of WAN-IFRA Asia-Pacific.
Sandy has been recognized by several groups for her work not only in business but for her advocacies as well. Among the major awards and citations she has received are: Ten Outstanding Women in the Nation's Service (TOWNS) for print and media journalism (2007); one of the Young Global Leaders recognized by the World Economic Forum (2006); Gusi Peace Prize for Journalism (2005); one of the finalists for the first Entrepreneur of the Year Award (2004); Aurelio Periquet Business Leadership Award-Pearl (2002); Ten Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) for Public Service in Print Media and Advocacy (2001); Best Woman Achiever in Business Award given by the Filipino-Chinese Federation of Business and Professional Women of the Philippines (1999). She was also cited recently by Forbes Magazine as one of Asia's 48 "Heroes of Philanthropy."
Jose Manuel S. Fernando, President
Manny has over 15 years experience in the mobile telecommunications industry. Prior to taking the post as President of MegaMobile Inc., Manny took executive positions in Wireless Services Asia Inc., Isla Communications, Ericsson Telecommunications Inc., and Sendo International Ltd. Manny has extensive proficiencies in Commercial Partnership Programs, Business Development and P&L Management. He is a founding member and director of the Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP). Manny graduated with a degree in Business Management in Ateneo de Manila University. He took his Master's Degree in International Management at The American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) in Arizona, USA.
Angelo dM. Mendoza, Chief Operating Officer
Anjo is a technopreneur engaged in new media technologies. Anjo started MegaMobile's predecessor, FingerApps, an application development company focused on webb and mobile services. Anjo core strengths revolve around JV initiatives and partnerships for new business development, mobile content provisioning and business process outsourcing for the South East Asian, North American and European markets. A graduate of the University of the Philippines with a degree in Business Economics, Anjo has over 10 years experience in the IT/Wireless industry.
Aristotle Villarin, Chief Technology Officer
Aris is a hands-on Technical Executive with substantial experience in major aspects of Telecommunication and Information Technology. Co-founder of Fingerapps Inc.. and Megamobile Inc. Actively participate in different internet and mobile related operations currently being managed and contracted to Megamobile by Telcos, Publishers and Content Owners. As a graduate of the University of the Philippines with a degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Aris actively takes part in meeting objectives; placing major consideration on what fuels every Knowledge-based company -- its people -- without sacrificing the expectations of the shareholders.
J. Ferdinand De Luzuriaga, Treasurer
Mr. De Luzuriaga is the President of LINQ. He was appointed Chief Financial Adviser of the Inquirer Group and Philippine Daily Inquirer in May 2005. As a consultant, he continues to oversee PDI's Finance Division and advices Inquirer's top management on the group's subsidiaries and affiliates. He is also Malayan Bank's Executive Director. Mr. De Luzuriaga has a total of 21 years experience in financial services. He worked at Unicapital Inc., from 1996 to 1999 as First Vice President handling corporate finance, credit and relationship management. He joined the AMA Group of Companies from 1999 to 2005 as Senior Vice President for Financial Services and was actively involved in AMA Group's expansion overseas. Mr. De Luzuriaga graduated from the University of the Philippines. He also took further studies at the Asian Institute of Management and in INSEAD. In July 2007, he was appointed as President of LINQ Information Entertainment Quadrant (Philippines and Singapore) in a concurrent capacity.
Rudyard Arbolado, Legal Counsel
Rudyard is the Chief Financial Officer of LINQ. He is concurrently the General Counsel of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. He was previously a corporate and tax lawyer at the Angara Abello Concepcion Regala & Cruz Law (ACCRA Law) Offices, a commercial law firm of over 120 lawyers. He has also gained significant experience in financial services, having been affiliated with Unicapital Securities, GMA New Media and AMA Capital Holdings. In his spare time, he is a lecturer of Business Law and Taxation at a Philippine university.
Rudyard obtained his degrees in Law and Business Administration & Accountancy from the University of the Philippines.
